Although you’ll have access to our architects when you partner with us, if you have your own architect we are happy to work with them to step in to complete construction.
How can I find the best contractor to build a new house?
You’ll need to find a contractor that has experience in planning, designing, and building homes from start to finish. This means they’ll need to be familiar with local building codes and permit requirements, as well as electrical, plumbing and energy efficient systems that will go into the new house.
How much does it cost per square foot to build a new house?
It is difficult to determine an average square foot price for a new home, since it can range greatly depending on the features you add, the varying prices of building materials, and more. It takes about a year to build a new house. The time a project takes from start to finish also depends on how long the city takes to approve plans, which can take up to 6 months for regular new construction and even longer for hillside construction due to added safety requirements.
